I suppose I got inspired by the work of my fellow Ravenclaws, but a desire to start my own Pottermore blog hit me and it felt like a good idea. We shall yet see if that proves the be the case.

The first topic I’ll write on is the sorting. When I found out about Pottermore this is what excited me the most (getting my wand was a close second). Though I related most to Ravenclaw and Slytherin (yes, Slytherin), I always wondered which house I would really be sorted into. Facebook Quizzes don’t come close to doing the job. But this would be it, the definitive answer. I know a lot of people felt that way, too.

I have to admit I was initially disappointed at the result of Ravenclaw. This is because I watched a lot of videos and read a lot about people getting sorted into the “wrong” house. A huge part of me hoped to be sorted into Hufflepuff or Gryffyndor, so I could say “Wow! I didn’t expect that!” and start repping for a brand new house I’d never stood behind before. 

After the disappointment of NOT being surprised, though, I am more than happy to be a Ravenclaw, and have been brewing my potions accordingly.
